Can I keep a transparent background or add a colour?
Both. Keep it transparent to get a PNG you can drop onto any design, or choose White, Black, or a custom colour to place your subject on a solid background (delivered as a JPG).
What kind of images work best?
Photos with a clear, well-lit subject that stands out from the background give the cleanest results — great for profile pictures, product shots, and e-commerce listings. Very busy backgrounds or fine details like loose hair may need a light touch-up.
Is the background removal done automatically?
Yes, it is fully automatic — no clicking around the subject or drawing masks. The AI model runs on our servers and returns the cutout directly.
What format is the result?
A transparent background is delivered as a PNG to preserve transparency. If you pick a solid colour, you can get a JPG. Either way the original resolution is kept.
Are my images private?
Yes. Images are processed over an encrypted connection and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We never store, share, or use your images for anything else.
Is it free?
Yes, with a daily watermark-free allowance. Free and guest cutouts beyond that allowance carry a small "PaperFlow Free" watermark; upgrade to Pro for unlimited clean cutouts, higher limits, and larger files.
