Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a QR code?

Pick a type — URL/text, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS, or contact card — fill in the details, and your QR code appears instantly. Customize the colours, size, and error correction, then download it as a PNG or SVG.

What can a QR code contain?

A website link or any text, Wi-Fi login details (so guests connect by scanning), an email with pre-filled subject and body, a phone number to dial, a pre-written SMS, or a full contact card (vCard) that saves straight to the phone.

Can I add my logo to the QR code?

Yes. Upload a logo and it is placed in the centre. Keep the error-correction level on High so the extra redundancy lets the code still scan reliably with the logo covering part of it.

PNG or SVG — which should I download?

PNG is a ready-to-use image, perfect for screens, documents, and social posts. SVG is a sharp vector that scales to any size without blurring — ideal for print, posters, and large banners. (Logo overlays are available in PNG.)

What is error correction and which level should I pick?

Error correction lets a QR code still scan even if part of it is dirty, damaged, or covered by a logo. Higher levels add more redundancy but make the pattern denser. Medium is fine for most uses; use High if you add a logo or plan to print at small sizes.

Do the QR codes expire or need an account?

No. These are static QR codes — they never expire, have no scan limits, and need no signup. The data is encoded directly in the pattern, so once downloaded they work forever.

Is it free and private?

Completely free, with no watermark and no limits. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser — nothing you type is ever uploaded to our servers.
